The law for driving license has been renewed in UAE allowing the teenagers from 16 to apply for the permit. The decision proves to be very beneficial for the families who have teenagers. The news had been announced by the Chairman of Federal traffic Council such as Major General Mohammad Saif Al Zaffin who is also the Commander in Chief of Dubai Police.
Most of the families use foreign drivers because the teenagers are not capable of driving and are too young for a license.
According to the Commander in Chief of Dubai, the teenagers at the age of 16 are mature enough and are capable of granting the license after a driving test. He also stated that riding a motorcycle is more dangerous for the youngsters than driving a car so the license for motorbike will be granted at the age of 17.
