Most of the parts of Dubai are based on the island. From Habtoor City to Bur Dubai, Dubai Canal is now changed into the island. Two weeks before the water was released in Dubai Canal. The waterfall starts flowing from the highway and on Wednesday the 9-kilometer long waterway was opened with fireworks. The display was showcased along Sheikh Zayed Road.

The ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammad Al Maktoum has seen o the bridge of Water Canal.

According to the report, some walkway parts around the Canal are still not open, but it will be open soon. The waterway has nine new marine transport stations, and the New ferry will be in the water canal this week. This is the first image of the Dubai Water Canal right after water was released and it was opened for people. The place is operated and owned by Mohammad Bin Rashid Space Centre.

Here it is the 3.2km canal which links with the Arabian Gulf and Business Bay, and the turned areas are Zabeel, Oud Metha, Karama, Satwa, Downtown, and Bur Dubai. The Google map also display the image as an island.


When the canal is finished, it looked something like this with the extension of Jumeirah Beach.


A new Jumeirah Beach Park will soon be opened, and a mall will be on top with a running track of 7km. The apartments will be over the Safa Park. This month the major pedestrian bridges and roads will open. Both of the bridges are complete and open from Sheikh Zayed Road. This is how Safa Park will look. It is almost finished.

This is how it will look like along with the running tracks, sitting areas, water, greenery and smart lights. The area is safe and will be monitored by the surveillance cameras and embedded with the face recognition technology. However, property developments continue along the banks of canal. The areas it connect are Peninsula, Jumeirah and Gate Towers. According to the plan there will be 5345 residential units and various hotel rooms.
